harvey pageHarvey J. Page, P.E.
Chairman and CEO

Mr. Page holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Kansas State University.  He is a registered Professional Engineer in 8 states and is actively involved with the Gas Processors Association, The National and Texas Societies of Professional Engineers, and the Associated Builders and Contractors.  He is a past Board Member of the United Way; past president of Associated Builders and Contractors, Houston, Texas; and currently serves as a Director on the Odessa College Foundation Board.

Prior to acquiring Ref-Chem in 1983, Mr. Page worked as an engineer and other upper management positions with previous employers. He along with a past president now retired were named the Odessa Chamber of Commerce Entrepreneurs of the Year. In 2007, Mr. Page was made a member of the Odessa Businessmen’s Hall of Fame.  Through his leadership Ref-Chem has experience continual growth and celebrated its 50th year anniversary in business during the fall of 2007.

President and COO

S C “Trey“ Myers, serves as President & Chief Operating Officer of Ref-Chem, L. P. He has over thirty years of experience in commercial and industrial construction. Since joining Ref-Chem in 1991 he has been involved in nearly every aspect of the company. As President, Mr. Myers is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and operation of the firm including construction, engineering, EPC, cost control, estimating, and scheduling. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University. Mr. Myers has served as President of the local Association of Builders and Contractors.

rodney pageRodney J. Page
Executive Vice President and CFO

Rodney J. Page serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Ref-Chem. He has over 20 years of extensive management experience, most of which have been with Ref-Chem. His management experience includes construction, engineering, maintenance, sales, marketing, estimating, purchasing, human resources, finance and accounting. Mr. Page holds a BA in Accounting from Texas Tech University. He is a Member of Associated Builders & Contractors of Houston, Houston Business Roundtable and Association of Chemical Industry of Texas. He served as ABC Board member for over 10 years now and served as ABC Chairman in 2006.  Mr. Page also formed and served as co-chairman of Greater Houston Construction Careers Initiative.

ben nicholsBen H. Nichols
Senior Vice President of Business Development

Mr. Ben Nichols joined Ref-Chem in 1991.  He has over 40 years of construction experience including gas plants, chemical plants, power plants, and commercial buildings.  Mr. Nichols holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from the University of Texas in Austin and also holds construction licenses in eight states.  Mr. Nichols has also received extensive management training from FMI, American Management Institute and Harvard University.

Vice President of Business Development

Mr. Wilson joined Ref-Chem in 2000.  He attended Texas Christian University and has extensive experience in industrial construction. His expertise includes project management, sales, estimating, design work and contract negotiations. 

jeffrey havensJeffery W. Havens
Vice President of Business Development

Jeff Havens recently joined Ref-Chem and has over 10 years of industrial and commercial sales and management experience. His expertise includes contract negotiations, project management, planning, budgeting, sales and marketing. Prior to beginning his business career Mr. Havens spent three years as a pitcher for the minor league affiliates of the Chicago Cubs and Pittsburgh Pirates. Mr. Havens received his BA from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas.

john adamsJohn Adams
Vice President West Texas Maintenance & Human Resources

Mr. Adams joined Ref-Chem in 1995.  He is a native of Pecos, Texas.  He holds a BA from the University of Texas in El Paso.  Mr. Adams has over thirty years of experience in business administration.  He has also held the position of Division Controller and Vice President of Finance for other firms.  Mr. Adams is responsible for human resources, safety, maintenance, and field services. He is a Member of the Board of Directors of the United Way and of the Texas Workforce Development Board.  He is also Committee Chair of  Ref-Chem’s United Way Campaign.

Vice President Engineering

Mr. Yost joined Ref-Chem in 2007. He has over 25 years experience in the engineering and construction field as a civil engineer, construction and project manager. Industry experience includes: electrical power generation, natural gas transmission, steel, refining and chemical. Mr. Yost holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Charleston. Mr. Yost also holds Professional Engineering licenses in several states.

Vice President of Construction
 

Mr. Rashall joined Ref-Chem in 1997. He has extensive project management/engineering experience.  He has responsibility for overseeing all operational aspects of the projects including safety, scheduling, materials and equipment scheduling, employment, sub-contractor selection, cost reporting and onsite management/client relationships.  Mr. Rashall holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A & M University.

Maintenance Manager - Gulf Coast

Mr. Gorton has been with Ref-Chem over 30 years and has extensive experience in maintenance and new construction in the petrochemical industry, hydrocarbon processing, and heavy construction. He also has comprehensive knowledge of planning, scheduling, cost control, estimating, sub-contract administration, purchasing, safety, craft coordination, and project management. Mr. Gorton attended Texas A&M, San Jacinto College, and International Institute for Learning.  He is a member of the Houston Business Roundtable Operations and Maintenance Committee and Associated Builders and Contractors.
